CMS used in paper-making and dyeing industry for its property of retaining moisture and fluidizing. CMS colloid is transparent and delicate. The viscosimeter is low but   viscosity is high. It has good fluid, dissolvability, emulsibility stability and permeability. It used as drying agent, wet end additive and sizing agent in making paper and combines with PHA to form oil-resistant and water soluble coating.
